I really like how you wove Sean into the story as well as the canon episodes. The characterizations were solid, if heartbreaking at times. Hotch's obsession with finding out who his brother was dating and then his reaction was spot on. I enjoyed how you described his temper and how he tried so hard to contain and control it. Reid breaking up with Sean was sad but really something that was so "Reid" to do (if that makes any sense).
The evolution of Hotch and Reid's friendship was paced well, never rushed, and how each of the cases they worked effectively built upon what they had was great. The conversation about the emotional abuse was emotionally difficult to read and very powerful. Right there, when Hotch decides to be honest, is the change for them.
